Anointing the Soil with Oil: The Lord's Prayer is on a metallic sign tag. The sign tag is planted into the ground in each of the 50 states. The reverse side on the sign has a portion of the Lord's Prayer specifying each state by name, asking God's kingdom to come, and His will to be done in each of the respective states. Also, a vial of oil is poured into the ground.
These attractive ball caps are merely cosmetic, the helmet of salvation is our real headpiece.
Arlington, Texas, in the vicinity of the sporting venues for professional Football, Baseball, and Hockey teams. Prayed over the State of Texas and anointed the soil with oil. The tree behind me is bare, and all three sports stadiums were empty. Notwithstanding the bare tree and closure of the stadiums, no one is in a panic at this point because they are not in season. Perhaps the lesson to be applied is for you not to panic when things are bare. Stay connected with God----your season to bloom is coming.
Bishop Earl Parchia plowed through the snow and ice with me, and we endured harrowing road conditions in Oklahoma and Arkansas during Phase II. We were also able to honor his father's memory in this state of his father's birth.
LaTosha (my oldest daughter) and I entered Delaware, which is the first state of the original 13 colonies. After a moment of open prayer, a prayer tag was planted into the ground near one of the gates to the state.
From the eastern shores of Maine to its border with Canada to the north and other US states to the west and south, we offered a prayer mist over the State of Maine. We planted a prayer tag and anointed the soil with oil at one of the gates to this state. By the way, the way life should be should always include Jesus Christ.
Bishop Parchia and I arrived in Oklahoma on February 15, 2021. As with Texas and New Mexico, we overcame a 1 in a 100-year snowstorm that blanketed the Southwest with ice and snow. Through the leading and protection of the Lord, we persevered and anointed the soil with oil and prayed at one of the gates to the state. Glory to God!
We arrived in Massachusetts late and spent the night in Boston. LaTosha and I lodged at a hotel along the Boston Harbor. As I walk towards the front desk to check out of the hotel, I encountered two hotel workers who appeared reserved and timid. They pleaded with me to pray for them as well as the hotel. After a quick prayer for them, I prayed again in the lobby. As I left the hotel, the spirit of intercessory prayer came over me, so I prayed more fervently. It wasn't until I left the area that I remembered the prophetic words given to me by a sister in Christ. One week before my trip, she told me of a vision she had of me interacting with some people at a hotel and proclaiming God's power to settle over the area.
We arrived in the beautiful State of New Hampshire the morning of January 19, 2021, as part of Phase I. The late General John Starks, a soldier of the US Revolutionary War re-coined the phrase "Live Free or Die," which is the state's motto. As inspiring as the motto is, no revolutionary weapon, impressive rhetoric, or coalition of forces can truly make us free from the oppression of sin and the finality of death. Only Jesus Christ, the one who has all power in heaven and earth, can do that. The one whom the Son (Jesus Christ) has made free is truly free indeed.
Powerful Encounters. As I was making plans a month or so before this trip, God impressed upon me to go to the city of Brattleboro. As we were driving to Vermont on some backroads, our GPS was in and out of service (I forgot to bring my Atlas), so we stopped at a gas station to get directions. When I mentioned Brattleboro to a gentleman at the station, he sternly warned me not to go there and elaborated why. He advised me of another place and gave directions to it. I got back into the car and drove on to Brattleboro. Upon arriving at an intersection in Brattleboro, a young woman begin shouting obscenities toward me. I knew immediately it was spiritual intimidation, so I silenced her with spiritual authority. After driving a few blocks, we turned our vehicle around to find her, and we ministered to her. She was a changed and humbled person when we left. After that, we minister to many others in a shopping plaza, letting them know of our mission.
We departed Washington, DC, and traveled in an NW direction through Hattiesburg and into West Virginia. After praying in West Virginia, we backtracked through Maryland where we anointed the soil with oil and prayed for the State of Maryland. We traveled through Baltimore and into Delaware. We were feeling a little fatigue as we backtracked a few times while in DC and Maryland to get to West Virginia, but the mission was accomplished. Glory to God!
