Second to planting the prayer and pouring oil into the soil, this picture reveals the highlight of my prayer mission trip to Alaska. From left to right are District Superintendent (Bishop) Pastor Gordon Parrish, me, and Associate Pastor Albert Agee. I was stationed at the nearby Army Base, Ft. Wainwright from 1984-1987. As a young single 23 year old when I arrived, I was mentored by these two men who were/are strong in the Lord, as well as faithful family men. Patsy joined me a year later in 1985 after had we married. We became Youth Pastors at the church until our military reassignment.

We arrived in the State of Minnesota to start Phase IV. After traveling to ND, SD, MT, WY, NE, IA, and WI, we returned to Minnesota and flew to the State of Washington. Aside from planting the prayer tag, I was inspired to financially bless one homeless man and financially encourage another young man. We poured oil into the soil and planted the prayer tag at one of the eastern gates of the state. I sensed a presence of dread and spiritual uneasiness when I arrived/departed on March 22nd, and when I came again the night of March 24th, I left the afternoon of March 25th. Nevertheless, Mission Accomplished

The drive to Montana was a skip and a hop from where we were in Wyoming. We had plenty of time and space to plant the prayer into the ground and pour oil into the soil. May God's kingdom come and will be done in Montana as it is in heaven.
